The Toledo Bend Tailrace Channel Area Recreation Facility is located at the south end of Toledo Bend Dam on the Texas-side of the reservoir. The only amenities offered at the Tailrace Area are trashcans. It is a day use and overnight location for use by self-contained visitors. Primitive camping, fishing, and a primitive boat ramp are available.
The park is accessed on FM 692 north from Burkeville, Texas, to River Road across from the Toledo Bend Project switchyard southeast approximately 0.5 miles.
