Flood Infrastructure Fund (FIF) Upper Sabine Study – Public Meeting #2

Notice is hereby given that the Sabine River Authority of Texas (SRATX) has set up a meeting for public review and comment of the progress for the Upper Sabine Flood Infrastructure (FIF) Project. The public comment meeting will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023, at the Longview Convention Center located at 100 Grand Blvd., Longview, Texas, 75604.

- Summary of the current progress of the Upper Sabine FIF study
- Current Flood Risk Review
- Areas of Interest (AOI) for potential flood mitigation actions
- Prioritized Areas of Interests for mitigation modeling

Information on how to participate in the public comment meeting is detailed below:
At the public meetings held the Longview Convention Center located at 100 Grand. Blvd., Longview, Texas, 75604 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, Comments will be recorded and will be documented in the summary of public comments in the Upper Sabine FIF study
The Sabine River Authority (SRA) and its Technical Consultant (FNI) will accept comments via e-mail until September 22, 2023. E-mail comments should be provided to SRA Project Manager, Mark Mann at firstname.lastname@example.org or to FNI Project Manager, Mat Leclair at Mat.Leclair@freese.com.
The Sabine RFPG will accept written comments until September 22nd, 2023. Written comments should be mailed to:
