(Toledo Bend Reservoir, Texas) The Sabine River Authority of Texas (SRA-TX) recently opened the Pendleton Recreational Area Boat Ramp located along Highway 21 in Sabine County at the state line.
The opening of the boat ramp marks completion of Phase 1, with Phase 2 currently under construction. Phase 1 of the project includes an asphalt parking lot, kayak launch, and a four-lane boat ramp protected by a 340’ jetty. Phase 2 will include a pavilion, restroom facilities, playground, picnic areas, boardwalk, and a swim beach area.
Phase 2 is scheduled to be completed and opened to the public in the summer of 2024.
