The Sabine River Authority (SRA) will hold a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020, at 12777 State Hwy 87 North, Orange, Texas, 77632 regarding the SRA’s application for funding to the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) for Flood Infrastructure Funding (FIF). The SRA proposes to install six (6) additional stream gages for stage-discharge and five (5) for precipitation monitoring. Based on input from the USGS Branch Chief for the Gulf Coast, the SRA will seek to eliminate existing data gaps within the Sabine River Basin.
