RE: November 2009 monthly Water Quality Report
The Environmental
Services Field Offices conducted water quality monitoring in the
Weather - Weather
conditions in the
Tidal Conditions - Surface salinities were found at one of the Tidal
stations. The largest salinity value, 1.9ppt,
was found at Blacks Bayou station BB1 throughout the water column. The
low salinity values are a result of the amount of water flowing downstream from
heavy rains and the releases at

designated segment includes the Sabine River from the confluence with

– Cow Bayou Tidal. The segment
reaches from the confluence with the Sabine River in
Sampling Conditions: The
Tidal stations received 0.12 inches of rainfall in the seven days prior to the
sample event. Salinities of greater than 1.0ppt were found at only one of
the Tidal stations. The largest salinity value, 1.9 ppt, was found at Black’s
Bayou station BB1 throughout the water column.
