Business and Industry Data Center
The Business and Industry Data Center (BIDC) program is an ongoing initiative of the U.S. Census Bureau to make economic data and statistics more widely available at the state and local levels. The Texas Department of Economic Development (TDED) participates in this program through agreements with the U.S. Census Bureau and the State Data Center at Texas A&M. TDED’s participation in the BIDC program provides the most cost effective way to deliver the economic research and data services required under Texas Government Code 481.211-212, as state participation in the Census Bureau’s program requires no direct outlay of state funds. (The Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis provide data to participants at no cost.).
Canton Economic Development Corporation
Mission: To be the focal point for Canton area business planning, expansion, implementation, and economic development through effective utilization of all available resources while maintaining and enhancing the quality of life and economic prosperity of our citizens.  
City of Newton Economic Development
Newton is located on Texas Highway 87 and U.S. 190. The City is 20 miles south of Toledo Bend Reservoir on the Louisiana border, halfway between Houston and Shreveport and halfway between Dallas and New Orleans.

Economic Development Clearinghouse
The Texas Economic Development Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse) is a new initiative of the Texas Department of Economic Development (TDED) at the direction of the Texas Legislature. The goal of the Clearinghouse is to facilitate access for Texas businesses and communities to economic development resources offered by the State of Texas and other organizations, including the federal government, local government and community organizations, and private nonprofits.
Entergy Texas Economic Development
The Entergy Texas service area starts at the southeast Texas/Louisiana border and stretches up into the piney woods of east Texas, down to the Gulf of Mexico and across to the lake country north of Houston.
Gladewater Economic Development Corporation

Greenville Texas Economic Development Board
The Board of Development was chartered by the Greenville City Council in 1941 to promote industrial growth in the city.

Jasper Economic Development Corporation
In March, 1993 the Jasper Economic Development Corporation (JEDCO) was formed as a non-profit organization. The Corporation's mission is to create jobs and new capital investment by attracting new business and supporting existing business with their expansion needs. 
Kilgore Economic Development Corporation
Kilgore, Texas, the capital of the East Texas Oilfield, represents an extraordinary blend of the best qualities of a small community with the resources and regional market of a larger city. 
Office of Rural Affairs
"The Office of Rural Affairs helps rural communities use information to strengthen local potential, improve leadership skills, and work with surrounding communities to promote regional growth."
Partnership of Southeast Texas
The Partnership of Southeast Texas is a non-profit, economic development corporation that works to develop cooperative efforts on a regional basis. Its purpose is to help retain and create jobs in a nine-county area that includes Chambers, Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Newton, Orange, Tyler counties and the Bolivar Peninsula in Galveston County. The corporation is funded primarily by the local businesses, but significant contributions do come from area city and county governments.
Southeast Texas Economic Development Foundation, Inc.
The Foundation enables growing businesses to secure long term, fixed rate financing for major fixed assets such as land and buildings, and promotes economic development in the region. It is a licensed Certified Development Company.

Tatum Economic Development Corporation
It is the aim of The Tatum Economic Development Corporation to strengthen the economic climate of Tatum, Texas thus strengthing the business climate. We will do so by constantly supporting current and prospective employment in Tatum and our surrounding area. 
Texas Council on Workforce and Economic Competitiveness
The Texas Council on Workforce and Economic Competitiveness is authorized in state law as a Human Resource Investment Council under the federal Job Training Partnership Act.
Texas Economic Development Council
The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) is an Austin-based, statewide professional association dedicated to the development of economic and employment opportunities in Texas.
Texas Real Estate Market Reports
New real estate market reports for the state's 27 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) are coming off the press. Nearly half have been updated for 2001, and the others are nearing completion. The reports cover census data, employment and unemployment, major industries, business climate, education, transportation and infrastructure issues, growth patterns and much more. Best of all, they can be downloaded from the Center's website for free.
